Residents of CRAB Park sick of waiting for politicians to meet and listen to them have come to the BC Legislature. Will any MLA come speak with the people whose lives they freely use to score political points? We really hope so.

Absolute dream to co-host this with Ananya Roy. It was a pleasure to show the group LA. Stay tuned for all our reflections in the coming months!

"arrest to dispossess" - This is a common strategy of police and sanitation tag-teaming on sweeps. The goal isn't incarceration, but dispossession. Booking is time-consuming, so if they can simply detain a person and remove them from their property, mission accomplished. 1/3

McGill Law Profs are on strike! I’d rather be heading to Property class to discuss how law structures the distribution of society’s resources, the coercive power of property owner-employers (Morris Cohen, 1927!), and alternative imaginations & collectivities.. but here we are..
