UPDATE: Due to the threat of rain and thunderstorm activity, NatureConservancy.ca | Conservationdelanature.ca is postponing Saturday's Conservation Volunteers event at Gaff Point in western Nova Scotia. The hiking trail upgrades and other stewardship activities will be rescheduled later this summer.

Thanks to years of collaboration, NatureConservancy.ca | Conservationdelanature.ca and the Green Shovels Collaborative have removed more than 5,500 football fields' worth of invasive phragmites at Long Point, on Lake Erie.
