Happy to report this beautiful stag outran the Devon and Somerset Staghounds today within the first hour, a great feat with hundreds out for blood watching his every move. They spent the remaining 3 hours getting very wet looking for him, what a shame!

We've packed up the Portman Hunt after just an hour. They totally bottled it and just hacked around, bypassing their beloved maize fields which they would have put hounds in and surrounded, creating a death trap for the fox cubs inside. Sadly deer were chased, no hound control
