A visit this morning to the Sangro River Commonwealth War Graves War cemetery on Italy’s Adriatic coast, where 1775 British service personnel lie, many of whom were killed during the fierce fighting in this sector in Nov-Dec 1943. Never forgotten

Gerard, WWII survivor, officially opened the #Vrijheidspad today with us He passed on our #CWGC Torch of Commemoration to Marleen Kauffmann from Leopoldsburg at the #LiberationGardenMuseum and walked the first leg to our Leopoldsburg War Cemetery A true privilege to meet him ♥️
