Sunday marked the end of #learningdisability week. At NELFT R&D, we strive to promote a holistic approach to research, by ensuring participants are able to have their voices heard and making reasonable adjustments to help them throughout their research journey.

In a previous project at NELFT R&D, people with learning disabilities and dementia took part in a group intervention offering cognitive stimulation therapy (CST), involving engaging and creative activities. Interviews with participants and their carer were also held.

NELFT will be attending London Pride in June and Black Pride in August 2024, which is the largest celebration for LGBT+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent. In honour of #PrideMonth, here are helpful resources: nelft.nhs.uk/camhs-lgb/
