Thesis is up to 100 pages! I know the page count means almost nothing because of figures and bibliography, etc. but this still feels like a milestone worth celebrating. 🥹

Editing my thesis intro and realizing that I like the transition “interestingly”. Who am I trying to convince? 😅

If I could keep my eyeballs open, this whole thesis-writing exercise would be a lot more fruitful. 😴

Cool science moment of the day: I found a snake shedding outside my house this morning and gave it to a bored neighborhood kid. He came back 10 minutes later with a bunch of friends to find the “scawy” snake. 😂

Being a grad student was hard today—we’ll try again tomorrow.

I had distanced myself from the idea of becoming a PI but reading and writing all day while my awesome students do experiments and bring me cool data is pretty epic.
