Our students are selecting to do their graduate studies abroad because they get livable salaries abroad (unlike in Canada) and the laboratories are more modern. The level of urgency for corrective actions pertaining to investment in Canadian Research is extreme. Justin Trudeau

I’m actually mesmerized by the salmon run going on right now in Toronto. Worth the incredibly painful jog out to the west end (taking subway back home though)

Complex semesters don’t mean we can’t have fun in class - modern delivery methods and assessments continue to evolve and loved my non-tradish take on mentimeter

Let us continue to look with admiration on those who are fierce warriors, outspoken orators, but leave some admiration for those who identify as nurturers. People lead in different ways and we need role models for all kinds of leadership

Incredible if true - my students indicate that visual white noise for lecture actually helps them focus. So they prefer having animated gifs running in the corner for different lectures. I don’t know if novelty factor or not but def more views. What about spectrum learners tho?

The Handbook of #AcademicIntegrity (2nd) is going to span two volumes -- because it's more than 1900 pages and physically won't all fit into one volume! -- You read that right... more than 1900 pages! I have my proofreading work cut out for me over the next few days...

Asking students - how is your semester going so far? Enjoying the 2023 version of the Breakfast Club - so great to hear from undergrad students about their student experience
