The problem with this sort of rhetoric is that , not only does it demonise MH issues but it also lets terrorists off the hook. MH may provide context but it certainly doesn’t provide an excuse for violence. Nor are all of us with MH issues violent criminals.

Whatever methods of “behaviour “ support your school uses will fail without a strong culture and an SLT and staff who are consistent and follow through. There are no simple solutions or absolute. It takes work, effort and by in from the staff.
