Congratulations are in order for Newman Lacrosse today. Senior captain Patrick Landry named to the academic All American lacrosse team while senior captain Max Kukuy named to the all American team. Newman head coach, Aaron Burns, also named Louisiana state coach of the year.

Newman football opens up tonight at home in the annual jamboree against De La Salle. Kickoff is at 7pm. The game will be streamed by our good friends at VSN. Newman volleyball opens up at home Tuesday evening. Let’s pack the stands for both Home openers.

Newman volleyball wins its home opener tonight against Central Lafourche. The girls are on the road Thursday and Saturday for the annual tournament atAssumption.

Friday night at historic Michael Lupin Field the Newman Football team will host St Charles Catholic at 7pm. We look forward to seeing the stands packed tomorrow to support the Greenies.

On a rainy night at Michael Lupin Field the Greenies take a 10-3 lead into halftime and will get the ball back to start the second half. Eli Friend throws a beautiful pass to Collier Villere in the end zone and Jake Randle has had some key touches and the Defense has been solid!
