Big news! The NHMRC guidelines have been revised. This means it is the first time in 10 years since the drinking guidelines in Australia have been revised. This is a unique opportunity for Australia to update our guidelines to match new evidence.

The 2019 Guidelines build on 2009. Revision has taken three years and included •analysis of many studies and systematic reviews including thousands of scientific papers studying millions of people over decades •public call for evidence on benefits & harm •modelling.
