Eric was an extremely important part of the Biology and Huck communities at Penn State, and his role as faculty advisor for TaMIS highlighted his commitment to the wellbeing of our students.

Eric cared so deeply about making science a place for everybody. We are so grateful for all he did to lead TaMIS. This is such a profound loss for the field of biology, and especially here at Penn State. My thoughts are with Eric's family, his colleagues, and all who loved him.
