Over 1000 people lost their lost their lives to a drug overdose in Missouri in the first six months of 2023. While a slight decrease compared to 2022, there is still an urgent need for naloxone and treatment/recovery resources to reduce these preventable deaths further.

The SOR team worked alongside many others to significantly expand naloxone distribution this past year -- particularly focusing on harm reduction organizations and getting naloxone into the hands of people who use drugs. Check out @AddSciMIMH annual naloxone report to learn more!
