There's no doubt an argument that Ted Williams is the greatest hitter of all-time, but he wasn't the complete player some of the other guys were.

Aaron & Mays were true 5-tool players, and Ruth was one of the greatest pitchers ever before becoming the most dominant hitter ever.

I think there's an overwhelming sentiment that with how hard pitchers throw these days (which has resulted in an astronomical K rate and low batting averages across the league) teams are so unlikely to string together a bunch of singles in a row that there's no market for them.

Arraez is a brilliant contact hitter, a great clubhouse guy, and a tough AB every time.

These new-agey teams give up on him because he doesn’t walk a lot, he isn’t a great defender, he isn’t fast, and he isn’t a home run threat — all of which are true, admittedly.

But they lose…

Turns out that not only was journeyman slugger Bobby Bonilla an Oriole, he in fact — and this is true — absolutely raked during his time with the Birds. Bobby Bo batted .300 with 38 HR, 162 RBI, and 154 runs scored across 832 AB over parts of two seasons.

I don't know how or why –– only Elon knows how the algorithmic sausage is made –– but every so often there is a spate of folks that say 'I thought I was following you because I always see your stuff in my feed, but I guess I wasn't, but I fixed it'

So double check I guess, lol
