Two Peas In A Pod! 🫛🐝 These two male Green and Golden Bees (Amegilla aeruginosa) having a well deserved rest after busily pollinating our woodlands in Northern Australia! 😴

The BLUEST BEE of them all! 🐝💙 WOW! Is the only word I had when I saw possibly the most beautiful bee in the world in Malaysia, the Blue Carpenter Bee! 🤯🌳 This ENORMOUS BLUE FUZZBALL makes the loudest buzzing sound as it flies around the rainforest looking for flowers! 🌸

Blue Bee in flight! 🐝💙 It was so incredible to see these large Blue Carpenter Bees buzzing around the rainforest in Malaysia! 🌳 You would hear a loud buzzing sound then quickly turn your head to see the giant blue fluffballs around all the flowers! 🌺 Such amazing insects! 😍

Ahh, Australia. Trying everything dodgy possible to continue the destruction of our remaining eco-systems! 😡

ORCHID SEASON!! 😍 It may be freezing, but we had the BEST day in Anglesea yesterday seeing 10 species of orchids! 🥶🤩 Being back in Victoria made me miss orchid diversity so much! It is just mind-blowing all the colours and shapes of these incredible flowers! 🌸

RAINBOW MANTIS!!!!!!🤯🌈 One of the most beautiful insects in Australia, the Rainbow Mantis inhabits tropical and semi tropical woodlands in the north! ☀️🌳 It’s been a long journey trying to find one of these majestic mantids and I am SO HAPPY it finally happened!! 😍
