On and off chances of showers and a few thunderstorms will continue today through Monday, with the best chances across southeast Missouri, far west Kentucky and southwest Illinois. Dry and warm conditions can be expected Tuesday through the end of the week.

A rather unsettled evening ahead, especially for the southern half of the region as showers and a few thunderstorms move through.

Most of the region will be dry starting on Sunday and continuing through the entire wk ahead. Portions of southeast MO may still have some lingering showers on Sunday though. Otherwise, sunshine will return in full force by Tues along with above normal temps in the mid-upper 80s.

Chances of showers/storms today mainly SEMO, and portions of SIL/west KY along and west of I-57 and I-24. On Sunday, a few showers/storms in the Ozark Foothills of southeast Missouri, otherwise dry and mostly sunny. Dry, warm and lots of sunshine the rest of the week.

A few showers will linger over southern and western portions of the area tonight and Monday from the remnants of Francine. Otherwise, a return to dry conditions and above normal temperatures is anticipated this week as temperatures reach well into the 80s each day.

A few showers/storms are still possible in southeast Missouri today, especially in the Ozark Foothills. Otherwise, dry and warmer than normal conditions are expected across the region through Saturday. Chances of showers return to southern Illinois and southeast Missouri Sunday.

Following Francine rainfall, the Quad State returns to dry weather through the week. Highs in the mid-80s rise to the upper 80s to near 90 late week.

High pressure will give our region dry conditions and lots of sunshine the rest of the week into the first half of next weekend. Temperatures will be above normal, with the warmest readings on Friday and Saturday.

Warm and dry weather remains through the rest of the week and weekend, with highs in the mid-80s to lower-90s. A slight chance of showers may enter the forecast in the northwesternmost portions of the Quad State Sunday.
