We used the Food Lab today to practise our chopping skills and make delicious pickles.

In year 1 this week we have been learning about the Tudor kitchens and the different things you can find in them. We then sorted pictures of the different things in a Tudor kitchen and in our modern kitchens now. Then labelled the objects and wrote sentences.

Well done to all of our year 6 pupils Year 6 Old Palace who completed their SATs test last week. You have all worked extremely hard and should feel proud of all your accomplishments! Great Job! 🙌🎉

In Art, we explored using paint in the style of an Impressionist painter, illustrating different brushstrokes. We are very excited about our trip to the National Gallery National Gallery

We enjoy tasting the strawberry and blueberry jam that we made in the food lab, as part of our DT lessons.

Today, we pretended to be archaeologists, digging valuable Egyptian artefacts.

In Year 1 this week we have been finding out about what different types of wildlife there are and what they look like. We also found out about where wildlife live in the Uk and which ones dont live in the UK.

DT day is so much fun! We used straws to make pyramids then decorated them with Egyptian symbols.

Was great to see all our parents who took part in our Speaking English with Confidence group who visited the Tower Bridge glass  walk way and engine room on Thursday. Thank you to TfL DLR who provided the school with free travel tickets for our parents to attend!

In Year 1 we went to the Royal Mews for our trip. We found out all about the different carriages the Royal family use and met some of their horses! We had a workshop and found out lots about what it is like to be a king or queen. We even got to have a picnic at St James Park!

We enjoyed our Make it real project where we created 3D posters to illustrate settlements in different civilisations: Ancient Egypt, the Indus , Maya civilisation and Bronze Age.

Year 4 enjoyed their day today at the Summer Fete. They jumped on the bouncy castle, guessed the logo and enjoyed lots of snacks.
