#MOVE2023 off to good start with Voi Technology UK GM talk - (1) UK gov must properly legislate escooter sector. Industry has invested, needs certainty. (2) Many local gov tenders encourage unsustainable, risky bids. (3) More parking spots needed. Voi has done 25m UK rides.

#MOVE2023 @Boltapp launches their Bolt 6 escooter - there's one on the show's test track, I'll hopefully take a closer look shortly. Bolt does both shared escooters and ebikes - don't have a UK micromoblity presence yet, but might do soon if their rumoured TIER purchase happens.

This is nice. Almost every shared micromobility system requires a smartphone app to access the vehicle, and creation of an account. Not here with freebike UK, just tap the back of the bike with a credit card, and ride. On-bike display shows nearest parking point. #MOVE2023
