Opportunities to get better this summer!!

4 wrestlers were awarded as Off-Season Champs for their hard work. The first champ is Peyton McFarland! Peyton joined the team after last season and got working right away! She raised $300 during our fundraiser, was dedicated in the weight room, and attended both team camps.

Offseason Champ #2: Melanie Estrada Moreno! Melanie helped raise $275 for our fundraiser, attended open mats, and the Northwest Team camp while balancing out of town trips this summer. At camp, Melanie partnered up with some of incoming freshman serving as a mentor to them.

Offseason Champ #3 & #4: The Captains! Samantha Barajas-Moreno and Elena Bridges. They both continued to build their leadership as captains during the summer by dedicating themselves and definitely set the intensity during our competition time during camp 🏀🏈 #HuskiesRising
