"Do you know if Hamas were there [in Al Shifa hospital]?" Tanya Haj-Hassan: "I am just shocked that we're still having this conversation. [The Israelis] executed tens of people point blank, including one of our colleagues, Dr Ahmed Almaqadma, & his mother, who's also a physician"

Thinking about the PO Horizon scandal. One thing that really strikes me is the “us Vs them” (bosses vs subpostmasters) in the narrative. It feels like PO bosses thought the people working for them were scum- a catastrophic judgement to make of others in any work. Nick Wallis

You have forced through an odious piece of legislation that drags the reputation of our country through the sewer. Legislation that is ludicrously wasteful of public funds. Legislation that is wilfully cruel and has no purpose other than to shore up Conservative support amongst

When those with an agenda to denigrate the NHS on the basis of it having socialist roots pipe up about a "failed socialist, government controlled healthcare system" , this is the tweet I shall come back to.

A Physician is a protected title. I didn't call myself a Physician until I became a consultant. That took me 12 years from medical school, through foundation training, higher specialty training and fellowship exams of my royal college. A Physician Associate is NOT a Physician.

Dispatches on C4 24/06 is going to be a difficult watch. Working in EM feels like a war and it brutalises many staff. Please remember these are caring professionals whose work environment prevents them doing the job they were trained to do, but they still come back day after day.
