In 2020 fashion, nothing is ever the same from day to day... and our post for the Champion of the past TWO weeks is the same! Our Champion is Shannon Linder or “Coach Shannon. Shannon demonstrates excellence in every practice, lift, meet, and any time she represents OSKALOOSA.

Gwyneth Utterback and Emma Adams were also the Champion of the Week! We are continually so proud of the spirit and work ethic in both of these freshmen ladies. The growth they have made so far this season is incredible... and their times are quickly dropping down. KEEP IT UP!

Another champion of the week this season was Grace Moore. We are so glad to have freshman Grace Moore swimming with us. She has been incredibly coachable and such a positive presence in her lane(s)! With out any hesitation, Grace takes on every hard race and practice with stride.

This weeks Champion of the Week are seniors, Sophia Dykstra and Kenzie Hicks. We called them the Speed Demon Champions for their performances on Saturday at the North Central Swim Conference Meet, and continued that trend at our Little Hawkeye Conference Meet. KEEP IT UP!

‼️BREAKING NEWS‼️ Sophia Dykstra finishes off her senior season with an outstanding swim in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1.17.66 breaking the previous school record by half a second. In addition to this, our team placed 6 out of 8 teams beating both Atlantic and Grinnell.
