A trillion thanks to everyone who came down for the launch of Bedsit Land last night, to the mighty Cathi Unsworth for hosting. I’m truly overwhelmed by the response this book has had so far. After a bit of a headfuck release week, now my heart is very very full.

Would whole-heartedly recommend Bedsit Land to anyone interested in music, culture & seedy films. I love Soft Cell, but the book does a fascinating job of exploring their wider context. Not many bands built on seaside towns, Paul Raymond, Northern Soul & New York disco!
