When the benefits all around are just so clear, I'm at a loss to understand why #passivhaus isn't mandatory now for all new schools; indeed for all new taxpayer-funded buildings 🤷

If your standard is to "fix North America," yeah, it's hard to be hopeful. If your standard is to do things that meaningfully improve the lives of people, there is no place with more low-hanging fruit in that department than the USA.
