I support taking 250,000 children out of poverty and scrapping a cruel Tory 2-child policy.
This should be a basic starting point of any elected Labour politician or activist.
Just saying.

This is a sincere example of what I believe a majority of Labour MPs & Labour Party supporters are feeling about the issue of the 2 child limit. One act can characterise an administration. This should not be allowed to be the defining issue of an incoming Labour government.

As someone who grew up in a large family I know how difficult it can be. As a party we must put tackling child poverty at the heart of everything we do. Scrapping the two child limit would lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty, it's that simple.
