Lynsey Kavanagh, Co-Director of Pavee Point opens the launch of the Eastern Region Traveller Health Action Plan (ER THAP) by thanking those involved in the Plan, including the HSE Ireland and 10 different Traveller projects.

Mellany McLoone, HSE Ireland Dublin North City and County Chief Officer and ER THU chair, and Martina Queally, HSE Ireland Dublin and South East Regional Executive Officer speak at the launch of the ER THAP.

Kathleen O'Connor, Mary Brigid Collins and Bridget Nevin speak on the work of the different Primary Health Care Projects during the process of putting together the ER THAP, and the plans for its implementation.

Members of the NSIO team were also in attendance at another important Traveller health event today, the launch of the Eastern Region Traveller Health Action Plan. This is one of many local action plans around the country that addresses health disparities for Travellers.

Great discussions held at yesterday's The Heritage Council workshop on the first National #TravellerHeritageStrategy.  Further workshops with Travellers to discuss how Traveller heritage can be protected and promoted  will be taking place in Cork, Galway and Offaly.
