Sometimes the best thing you can do for patients is listen, converse, and be there. Be someone’s company. It’s sad how many people feel alone.

Thanks to Yvonne Mowery from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for an amazing translational talk! You’re really moving the needle in RadOnc (to be presented at ASCO24!) and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

Huge congrats to my friend and colleague Emma V. Watson on her incredible paper where she describes evolution of fit karyotypes following aneuploidization and found that they match the karyotypes in patient cancers.

I'm in Bangkok getting an up-close look at Thailand's universal health system, which prioritizes essential, primary health care services. The remarkable result? A life expectancy of 79 years, which costs the government as little as $300 per person/year.
