We’re back at our beautiful riverside home of St Mary’s Battersea for our first Bach Club this year! 🌊⛪️🎶 We’ve already ticked Cantata BWV 38 off this morning - next up is number 39, ‘Brich dem Hungrigen dein Brot’ (Break your bread with the hungry).

And with that, Early Nights: House of Medici has begun! We started our new series with music by Agricola and Dufay - we enjoyed our little dip into the Medieval period! 👑

Our choristers are learning the art of Anglican Psalm chanting. It’s not easy but they’re doing really well! 💜

👂 We went surround sound at Early Nights tonight! 👂It was a workshop of two halves, with a very interesting Agricola piece to start, then Heinrich Isaac to finish. Well done to all our singers! 🤩

Platinum Choristers were reunited today following the holidays. To say they were excited to open the Messiah scores is a complete understatment! What a joy to hear their voices again 💜❤️
