I fell out of the loft yesterday afternoon.i have broken my back in two places and im in the high dependency unit in the queen Elizabeth hospital 👍

Wee update on my situation .i have been having excruciating pain in hip and the bottom of spine so i got an MRi scan earlier to see if my hip is broken and if my pelvis is fractured.this will go well with my broken back .fingers crossed it’s not .they gave me diazepam bit sleepy

update from the specialist.i have actually broken my back in six places ,one just below my neck .he said I’ve been very lucky because one break is at my spine. im getting a new body brace on Monday which will help too.another wee while in hospital yet. Thanks everyone for your ♥️

I’ve lain in this hospital bed for the past nine days barely able to move and the kindness shown by nurses,doctors and consultants has been incredible. The NHS has been wonderful to me .the nurses have treated me with kindness and compassion I could never repay .every one a star

This morning I felt at my lowest ebb and thought there are two ways out this either give up with the pain or get out that bed I’ve been in for eight nights .it was Hell but I will get there ✊

Folks I got home yesterday afternoon,it’s going to be a long road back but I’m determined enough to.can I thank you all for the thousands of messages of support I’ll never be able to answer.i have been humbled by your generosity and kindness.i am indeed a very lucky man x
