Economic activity in Houston expanded at a slower pace in December, according to the most recent Houston Purchasing Managers Index. The PMI registered 53.8 in December, down from 54.7 recorded in November. bit.ly/2TgfDJu

Inflation, as measured by the Consumer Price Index, rose 6.5% nationwide in the 12 months ending Dec ’22. This is the smallest 12-month increase since Oct ’21. bit.ly/376So92
