We regret that the President of the Russian Federation's visit to Mongolia has taken place while he is under an International Criminal Court arrest warrant, and Mongolia is a State Party to the ICC Statute. This visit undermines the international criminal justice system.

FM Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 met with the Secretary of Defence of 🇵🇭 Gilberto Teodoro Jr. Among other things, the ministers discussed cyber security and combating disinformation. Both countries expressed their willingness to establish a joint 🇵🇱🇵🇭 commission on defence cooperation.

Recent history clearly shows that a stable international environment, can bring tangible benefits. Peace works. Peace pays off. It is not some imposed Western but a general truth equally applicable in Europe, in the Middle East, or in Southeast Asia.

My great mentor, former U.S. National Security Adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, once said that Russia faces a clear choice – it can be either an ally of the West, or a vassal of China. Vladimir Putin chose the latter. It remains to be seen if the society follows. 🧵⤵️

Putin signed a border treaty with Ukraine and has breached it. But yes, go sign another one, for sure he will respect it. How can you trust a leader who sends his troops to Crimea saying “these are not my men” and some years later he gives them medals? Credibility matters.
