One in four children with care worker parents living in poverty,

50,000 children with public transport worker parents are in poverty.

100,000 children with teacher parents are in poverty.

Lives destroyed by govt policies.

What future awaits country.

Rishi Sunak to ditch leadership pledges.
Tory pledges mean nothing - on income tax, national insurance, triple lock, fracking, social care, Brexit, NHS funding, levelling up.
People must have right to call an election when parties ditch manifesto pledges.

Salary of an experienced nurse has fallen by 20% since 2010.

47% of nurses skipping meals (47%) to save money.

Nurses kept the country going during the pandemic.

Govt needs to give NHS staff inflation-matching pay rise.

Tax he rich.

The mirage of Tory promises.

Hospitals and care homes have not received a single penny of a £500m emergency fund promised by the govt to prevent the NHS becoming overwhelmed this winter.

Govt has starved the NHS of funding, forcing people to go private.

UK govt anti-trade union law will require striking workers to provide minimum levels of service.

Bizarrely, this duty will apply even where a trade union is not recognised by the employer for collective bargaining.

This is conscription by another name.

Bank of England is reversing QE, sold £750m of govt bonds.

This is driving up interest rates. Profitable for banks.

Higher cost of mortgages/rents, loans, overdrafts for us; reduces disposable income of the masses; little impact on the rich.

Madhouse.

🚩Govt looking for spending cuts - says it lacks resources. Who caused that?

🚩Before the pandemic, annual fraud/error in govt depts was between £29.3bn and £51.8bn.

🚩Now add Covid frauds.

🚩A govt soft on corporate/rich fraud punishing the innocents?

Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock defends his money-making appearance on I’m a Celebrity - says politicians “must wake up and embrace popular culture”.

Popular culture does not call for low wages, destruction of NHS, public services - he voted for it.

UK food price inflation jumped from 10.6% last month to 11.6%.

Inflation driven by profiteering - energy companies, water, supermarkets, banks, hedge funds speculating on food prices. Govt silent.

Yet govt is pushing wage cuts. That won't revive economy.

Why does media go on about 'black hole' in public finances?

In a rich country, there is no such thing. It is a matter of govt priorities - tax perks for the rich/companies v the masses.

Spending cuts = real wage cuts, poverty, hunger, NHS queues, deaths.

All are avoidable.

UK govt spent billions of QE to buy gilts, inflated prices, speculators gained.
Now it is reversing QE, sells same bonds at loss, speculators profit.
Treasury has set aside £11.175bn to cover losses.
Magic Money Tree for the City, but not for the people.

Britain's shadow banking system is raising serious concerns after bond market storm.
No concern expressed by the govt or the FCA.
Shadow banking remains unregulated.
The Financial Services and Markets Bill deregulating formal banking.
What could go wrong?

As usual, The Telegraph attacks retirees, calls for scrapping of the state pension triple lock.

Makes no mention of human consequences - poverty, hunger, cold, malnutrition, illness, early death.

Of course, richer retirees could be taxed heavily.

Oil/gas companies are making record profits.

Need 100% windfall tax on excess profits.

Profit is not from any extra effort or investment.

Cost of producing gas/oil hasn't changed, selling price has due to their market domination.

Need 100% windfall tax now.

10.7m patients but number of full-time London GPs down.

It is the same story across England.

Tory govt has had 12 years to deal with education, training, recruitment and retention of doctors and hasn't.

2020/21 net tax relief on pension contributions, £48.2bn.

£29bn (60%) to 4.6m paying tax at 45% /40% rates.

£19bn to 27.7m on 20% tax rate or less.

Relief of 20% for all, leaves £10bn spare for govt.

It could clawback tax relief from the richest & invest in public services.
