As I've been saying, Tucker - Sauron has been clear about his peaceful, unifying intentions, and yet Gondor persists in its expansionist schemes! The placement of a garrison in Osgiliath is an escalatory action that must be condemned by all the Free peoples of Middle Earth.

I've already started to see posts about America having a "God problem, not a gun control" problem. Time to tap the sign. Gun deaths are quite positively correlated with multiple measures of religiosity/religious conservatism in a state. Having more churchgoers isn't the solution.

Why will GOP lawmakers fight to the death to prevent stronger gun laws? Cuz their base literally values gun rights above all other rights. We asked adults to pick which right was most important. For the plurality of Republicans, it ain't freedom of speech or religion. It's guns.

Vaccines account for 40% of the decline in infant mortality over the last 50 years. Infant mortality rates have plummeted over the last 50 years. Globally, they’ve fallen by over two-thirds, from around 10% in 1974 to less than 3% today. A recent study — published in The Lancet

Freakin LOVE doing tenure & promotion letters. So motivating. Reading through T&P materials for me is the equivalent of watching a Rocky training montage.

Do you teach experiments at all? If so, I've given a talk on survey experiments--specifically, 7 things that undermine them--at a few places and would I'd be happy to talk to your class! Based on a paper of mine at JEPS. 👇 If interested email or DM me! 😁

Hospitals use unnecessary C-sections on black women as a way to keep operating rooms busy when other uses of them get too low. Gross gross gross. nber.org/papers/w32891
