€35,860✔️ The final chapter of Project EDucate brought to a close. 12 months: An admission to an eating disorder treatment centre. Two continents, 12,000KM and €84,000 raised. We are all capable of doing anything we set our minds to. We just have to be brave enough to try.

Probably the most powerful episode of the GAA Social we’ve ever recorded. Armagh Gaelic footballer Aoife Lennon & her remarkable story. We’d encourage everyone to listen- it evolves with every passing minute. Unbelievable stuff ⁦ArmaghLGFA⁩ bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0…

This is essential listening for all, especially coaches/managers. Ever since my own eating disorder struggle, I’m convinced that there is a large cohort of athletes in Ireland struggling too. Aoife Lennon, do not underestimate the difference your honesty & bravery will make.

I’m a big believer that resilience is a skill which can be developed; it’s not necessarily something we’re born with. More a product of circumstance and life experiences. Grateful to St. Finians GAA for having me in to chat resilience and minding your mental health.

World Mental Health Day. It’s funny how things go full circle. Today I’m delighted to be announced as the key supporter of the Walk in My Shoes campaign for the upcoming year. WIMS aims to tackle mental health stigma and change how we think about mental health. #WMHD23

Today is #MindYourSelfie day as part of the Walk in My Shoes campaign. We’re asking people to share their self care tips. For me that means: 1) Protect time for myself every day. 2) Move my body and get outside. 3) Remember that whatever is going on will pass. #WalkInMyShoes
