Public contributors never, ever fail to amaze and inspire. We are so privileged to hear from Sadia telling her story about her journey in #PPI. To all public contributors THANK YOU. Sadia’s journey as a PPI contributor is just astounding. I am normally not a fan of acronyms but this is a special exception: Sadie has gone from PPI to PhD. Throughout - Sadia’s passion is making sure her voice is heard and making sure there is a voice behind the statistics.

“Public contributors are here to rock the boat but the way we do it is important.” Great to hear from NIHR Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre contributor share their experiences of #PPI. Using another boat analogy, it’s not all plain sailing, but thank goodness we have people on the good ship PPI ❤️

It was a real privilege today to share the patient safety research NIHR Midlands PSRC. It was a greater privilege to listen to patients that came to chat to us. Every patient has an important story to tell: to make care safer, we need to really listen - now more than ever before.
