In this edition of ID That Tree, Purdue Extension's Lenny Farlee introduces you to winged elm, found in the far southwest corner of Indiana. Named for its prominent corky ridges that extend off the main stems & twigs, it has alternately arranged, simple, doubly serrated leaves.
