On 8/15/24 Providence Streets Coalition 👟🚲🚌🛴♿🚗🌲 had an event to honor the lives of Zacory, Vanda, Edwin and David, who all died by being hit by cars on North Main Street, all within the last 18 months. We demand change from the Mayor Brett Smiley and RIDOTNews to fix this road death trap.

RIPTA is leading this federally funded initiative that will create municipal Safety Action Plans for 32 participating cities/towns and a statewide Action Plan that to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and public transit users.
