It's possible for a govt. to have rolled out a vaccine that saved millions of lives, while also having failed to communicate the danger of rare adverse events to vulnerable groups, that would have benefited from such communication. Both scenarios can be true at the same time

It resonated with me. Work should be challenging enough to feel 'whelmed', that's the zone where you are neither bored nor overwhelmed, but just 'whelmed'.

If you've been thinking of not voting, principled stand, dissent whatever, I hope you will be able to reconsider given the speech today. It is easier to hold accountable a party and a government that, not perfect, but at least is not brazen and evil.

Can you imagine a sitting head of state demonising a whole section of the populous (using gender/sexuality no less; ‘those who have many children’) to win over voters? Doing it this openly shows the impunity with which they operate and the normalisation of their hateful rhetoric.

Love and strength to every Muslim citizen of India tonight. Our country has failed you. You don't deserve this heartlessness. You don't merit such inhumanity. We are sorry that your souls continue to be crushed in this ignoble way. You are loved and this will always be your home.
