It’s one of my favorite times of year! Career centers are up and running in K-2nd grade. Today we tried out 4 careers: veterinarian, chef, farmer, and builder. Garden City

We had a cosmetologist make such a cool donation for our career centers and the students are LOVING it. 💕 She donated a mannequin head among a bunch of other real hair supplies. Garden City

This student went right to “fixing” tables when he was at the builder station. He was shortening them for pre-k classrooms. 💕😂 Garden City

I wasn’t going to do a mindful snack this year but scholars asked me to bring it back and I couldn’t say no. This year we compared granola bars. We ate slowly to notice little detailed differences between the two. We used an NUA strategy to track our thoughts. Garden City
