New lab paper alert 🚨🙂 Former postdoc Katie Smith demonstrates how nodes of Ranvier in cochlear afferent neurons change around the onset of hearing. Computer simulations (in association with David Attwell's lab UCL Neuroscience) show how this speeds transmission to the brain. 👂🧠🔬
