Switzerland installed these during WW2 to prevent invasion. There are still some in the village I grew up in. As kids we called them Toblerone 🍫 Nowadays they’re great habitats for lizards etc.

Powerful how (seemingly) small UX can make BIG difference — people will ditch Chrome for Safari "just" because it auto-fills one-time codes from text messages … This integration is probably a few hundred lines of code, yet displaces something like Chrome, a multi-billion dollar

Most products are first built, then demoed, then sold. You gotta give it to Microsoft how they nailed the first demo > then sell > then build playbook.

Just did housekeeping of my online subscription (track them in Notion) and have 23 paid personal subscriptions — total cost is $200/mo. I'm always happy to try out stuff but also disciplined about canceling things that don't get enough use. What does this look like for people?

When you're in a Zoom call, do you take notes? Where? I have a dozen possible note-taking surfaces (from TextEdit that comes with every Mac, to iA Writer which I helped build, to Notion where I work) but nothing feels "right" … and I start to think the reason is filing.
