Clean-up success! Yesterday, at Tongogara Refugee Settlement, Refugee Coalition for Climate Action (RCCA) conducted a plastic pick-up campaign in community areas! We collected over 15 wheelbarrows full of plastic waste and made a real difference in our neighborhood! Thanks to all our volunteers who joined us!

Community health is our well-being! Every Saturday, we mobilize young people for Clean-up campaigns. This is a way to demonstrate community service. We work hand-in-hand with the Settlement Administration and partners to keep the #Tongogara #Refugee #Settlement clean.

In Tongogara Refugee Settlement, Zimbabwe, Refugee Coalition for Climate Action (RCCA) has a strategy of planting a shade tree and a fruit tree per household. As we head into summer, this is one of the transformed households, thanks to trees we planted in 2022 and 2023. #Neem is a fast-growing tree in hot place

Great and inspiring work. We have fenced 4 hectares for the establishment of a woodlot. 5000 gum tree seedlings have been secured from Forestry Commission while SEEDCO has 1000 more tree seedlings for the woodlot. Our work is cut out. Let's do it
