Saddlers’ Company had the pleasure of cohosting a 55th birthday lunch for Riding for the Disabled Association today at Badminton Horse Trials🎂 The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) mantra is ’Enriching lives through horses’. Their 13K volunteers do an amazing job of supporting 20K + disabled children/adults.

We had a brilliant weekend of competitions. Dressage Day on Saturday and Chigwell Challenge plus gymkhana games Sunday. Lots of cups and rosettes were won. Well done riders and thank you volunteers. You were all stars 👏👏👏

The Princess Royal began a gradual return to duties today with a visit to Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)'s Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College.

At the Championships, the biggest equestrian event of its kind for disabled competitors, The Princess presented awards and met some of this year’s winners. 🎉This year marks the 55th anniversary of the RDA!

Delighted to attend the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College & present the Saddlers Jubilee Saddle to Grey Jack, an RDA pony from Northern Ireland. It was even more special as the RDA President, HRH the Princess Royal made her first public appearance since her accident.
