I wonder whether we need to focus less on 'exceptional' hires, and more on developing the normal staff who know loads about their discipline, make time for their students, and support their colleagues whenever they can.

There are actual journalists in Ashfield & Nottinghamshire who are from these communities, worked in supermarkets while they studied, taken extremely low paid apprenticeships to know their craft & hold local power to account constantly. Ignore those that come for the Vox Pop

So I politely ask about Novara media's 'report' I suggest that Vox popping is not good journalism & Novara have a history of this type of prejudice going to poor communities & I'm told to 'fuck off' by a posh spoiled child. And they say we are the aggressive ones.

Niether Tory or Labour have any meaningful solution on housing both 'help to buy schemes' will make the housing market worse by continuing the housing price bubble. We need good affordable social housing that is not limited access to the most vulnerable

Half of all housing in Nottingham is being built as student housing - and yet we have a housing crisis where working class people have nowhere affordable & safe to live. Not any political party has an answer
