Sonya Massey called the police to protect her and they shot her in the head. She deserved to be safe in her own home. Her life mattered. The senseless killing of Black people at the hands of police must end. We need to legislate to protect Black lives.

.DTE_Energy made $1.4 billion in profits last year, but continue to price-gouge our residents and beg the MI Public Service Commission for more rate hikes. Now they are asking our residents to pick up the tab for their executives to travel on corporate jets. The corporate greed is disgusting.

I joined Transportation Riders United on trip down the Greenfield bus route. I was able to hear firsthand from residents about their experiences with our transit system. One of our residents works at DTW airport and has to take 4 buses to get to work. We have a lot of work to do.
