Today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the American economy added 818,000 fewer jobs than previously reported. This is the largest downward revision in 15 years. The Biden-Harris administration’s utter lack of fiscal responsibility continues to fail the American people.

Recently, members of my legislative team toured the Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District (LOID) distribution system which is critical to providing reliable water service to the surrounding Idaho communities. I appreciate LOID for putting this informative, hands-on meeting

Just wrapped up an afternoon of productive meetings in Cataldo, Idaho. Tackling issues in Congress that are crucial to protecting access and management of the Gem State’s vast natural resources will continue to be a priority for me in Washington, D.C.

Thank you, Chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik, for co-sponsoring H.J.Res. 133! This legislation would 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 the EPA’s 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲 to regulate heavy-duty truck emissions. Let the free market dictate the transition to electric vehicles.

We have legal provisions that outline you must be a citizen to vote in U.S. federal elections. However, by law, states are not required to ask for proof of citizenship at voter registration. The SAVE Act addresses this. I stand committed to seeing this bill signed into law!

The Golden Chest Mine is the largest gold producing mine in Idaho. It was a pleasure to meet with their leadership to discuss their sustainable mining practices and how we can streamline the permitting process and remove job-killing red tape.

Idahoans have consistently, and explicitly, spoken out against the Lava Ridge Wind Project in southern Idaho and that opposition has been largely disregarded. Today, I joined the Idaho Congressional delegation in urging Advisory Council on Historic Preservation to terminate its consultation with Bureau of Land Management - National.

Under Biden and Harris, the illegal immigration crisis cost taxpayers $150 billion in a single year. That price tag is largely being carried by state and local governments who are now juggling the fiscal and security implications. This is unacceptable. nypost.com/2024/08/29/us-…

It was an honor to join industry stakeholders in Alaska to discuss how sanctions put in place under this White House have hamstrung communities from seeking clean energy sources right here in the U.S.
