Our paper shows that sleep disturbance in #Parkinsons is associated with pallidal beta oscillations during non-REM sleep. #adaptiveDBS algorithms can target this activity, but current algorithms will shut down during NREM, leaving sleep untreated. We need sleep stage decoding!
