The library being "the last real third space" isn't a reason to keep adding new responsibilities to the library; it is a reason to create more third spaces.

When things aren't going to great, Mychal is the bright spot in my day. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness and honesty. When I'm having a tough time, I watch a video or two and they help me get back on track. (The videos also remind me to get to the library.)

I'm home recovering from foot surgery, and have the good fortune that the Olympics are happening. Women's gymnastics are amazing. I'm cheering them all on, gasping when anyone falls and cheering all the stuck landings. Not planned, but this helps my recuperation.
