This is my 10th time in the Swedish Subarctic, Abisko. I first came in 2020 and established this warming experiment together with Rousk Lab,Carlita,Lettice Hicks, Albert Brangarí. It was about time to give it a proper name: Subarctic Temperature Increase Experiment (SATIE).

SATIE includes different warming treatments: summer, winter, chronic, and extreme warming. Interesting results on microbial thermal trait adaptation throughout seasons and its impact on carbon cycling will be coming and further studied by Honorine Dumontel.

Just wrapped up #ICOM12 and now setting up ericoid mycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal fungal experiments in the Swedish subarctic. Thanks to Rousk Lab for having me on board! 🍄
