At the very least, companies should be posting preprints of the data they used to get FDA approval for their AI device. How can anyone be expected to know if a device is appropriate without the data?

Unless the personal statement says "as a language model", you can't be sure someone used AI. People throw these accusations around when studies have shown even AI detectors are biased against non-native speakers. hai.stanford.edu/news/ai-detect…

The healthcare AI space seems to be dominated by men, and many of them have spent very little time thinking about how women experience healthcare.

Sooo the five year old was scared of getting her cast off and kept saying, "You're not in charge of me. I'm in charge of me!" The teen years are going to be rough aren't they...

Nearly half of Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or their children. As a child of immigrants, I find these comments incredibly unacceptable. The Statue of Liberty is inscribed with, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”

Much of AI in dermatology research focuses on evaluating AI alone, when in actuality, it's human-AI systems we should be evaluating. Led by two amazing students: Clarence Sams and Aaron Fanous, now out in Journal of Investigative Dermatology: authors.elsevier.com/a/1jiAk,WJlgVqs

To the teachers who’ve been in schools for a few weeks & those just beginning, you got this. You’re some of the most prized and important people out there. Thank you for your nation-building work. We’d be nothing without teachers.

You know what causes physician burnout? Insurance denials. I'm only in clinic half a day a week and the time I spent fighting insurance companies to ensure care is ridiculous and exhausting. Cannot imagine doing it full time.
