KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to provide a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.

Finally finished this excellent biography of Brent #Scowcroft, 🇺🇸 National Security Adviser to President George H.W. Bush at a time of tectonic change (1989-93). Lots to learn on how we might address the tectonic change in global politics we face today.

Today I ended my Western Balkans tour in Belgrade. FM Марко Ђурић & I discussed Serbia's partnership with #NATO as well the Alliance's efforts in the region. NATO wants to see #Serbia play a positive role, based on good-neighbourly relations w/ all states of the Western Balkans.

Russian military drone has crashed in the Eastern part of Latvia yesterday. There is an ongoing investigation. We are in close contact with our allies. The number of such incidents is increasing along the Eastern flank of NATO and we must address them collectively.

Honoured to be invited to Mongolia 🇲🇳 by CHOD MG Ganbyamba Sunrev.   And to meet some of the 🇲🇳 peacekeepers who have served in NATO missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan. Mongolia has been a trusted NATO Partner for nearly 2 decades.
