In this study we have synthesised 30 !! different nanomaterials to find the best combination for positive contrast MRI. Hard work by Aitor H that has studied basically every metal from the periodic table that could be used in our synthesis

We have analysed the large amount of data by multivariate analysis showing how the different variables affect the relaxometric properties of the nanoparticle, for better or for worse, highlighting what we should do to fine tuning our probes for positive contrast MRI

Once we identified the nanomaterial with the best properties for MRI we tested it in several in vivo experiments. For example, we show how the nanoparticles accumulate in vivo in glioblastoma models…opening the door for many new things
